North Liberty, IA – November 15, 2023 – The steel beams and columns continue rising rapidly at the future site of Bowldogs Family Entertainment Center in North Liberty! Our construction crews are making great progress erecting the structural steel skeleton that will form the foundation of the building.

Over the past few weeks since our last construction update, cranes and workers have efficiently installed steel columns around the perimeter of the building as well as horizontal beams that will support each level of the structure. The repeating grid pattern of steel is now visible and allows us to imagine the bowling lanes, arcade, restaurant, and other interior spaces.

It’s exciting to see this portion of the steelwork extend into the sky! Once the core steel structure is complete, the team will enclose it with exterior wall panels, roof decking and other finishes.

We are thrilled with the rapid pace of construction so far. The steel erection phase keeps us on track for finishing the building enclosure by early 2024, allowing interior buildout to proceed on schedule. We can’t wait to see the steel structure topped out in the coming weeks!
